An excellent coffee shop with a pleasant relaxing atmosphere. I am very particular about coffee and the coffee here is amazing! The baristas are professionally trained and pull some incredible espresso!!!

I tried the sausage and spinach frittata, it was perfectly cooked, the spinach wasn’t taking over the flavor profile and the sausage was want too spicy. If you’re looking for something to warm you up I definitely suggest getting the Oatmeal Pie Latte.

Beautiful historic old downtown building well done to accommodate groups people or those interested in working for several hours. Coffee was excellent. Can opt for an endless mug for those really wanting to caffeinate! The place has a nice inviting feel.

We used this space with catering for a birthday party - the catering was amazing, Sam and Lyndsey kept the food hot and stocked and of course the space was perfect. I already love the coffee and would recommend the catering and event space! I forgot to get a picture of their amazing spread but an extra shout out to their quiche type pastries that I couldn’t stay away from.

Had a really great time stopping in here today! The atmosphere is warm and cozy (which is great since the weather was definitely NOT warm and cozy). Beautifully appointed space, with well-themed and really striking decor. The coffee smelled terrific, but unfortunately I had to switch to tea a few years back. The good news is they have a terrific selection of teas to choose from, and the Black Tea was delicious! The food was also baked on site, and looked amazing. I tried a bit of everything my family ordered and it was all fantastic. My wife tried the white chocolate peppermint mocha and was in heaven. My kids tried some of the fancier hot chocolate peppermint iced whatever's (haha I never know the name of these things, but they looked really fancy and tasted out of this world) and loved them--of course my teenager's iced coffee drink lasted all of three seconds, but that means he loved it. My kids were actually behaving, so that's a big thumbs up from them(and makes us parents appreciate it even more). While everything is delicious, the atmosphere in here is second-to-none! Cozy, comfortable, and feels like home--I was sad to leave, but hopefully will be passing through this way again (there was an amazing looking air-bnb directly above this that I might have to check into). If you want a great place to meet friends, a quiet place to relax or just an escape from life for a few minutes the Paddock is where you want to be!

I love a good coffee shop! More than that, I love a well functioning, customer driven experience. The Paddock offers exactly that; an excellent customer driven experience with an excellent selection of coffees. There plenty of room to pull up a chair at the big coffee bar, or you can relax in any of their comfortable chairs appropriately placed. The building is spacious and beautiful. Historic and restored to a beautiful luster that invites you in and makes you appreciate how much time and effort has gone into making the owners' dreams come true. There's also a mini food bar with delicious homemade sweets for dipping in your coffee or just eating on the go. There's a beautiful event space in the next room and even an AirBNB above the coffee shop that's breathtakingly beautiful. This brand new coffee shop adds some amazing southern charm and fierce competition for their respective market. The entire staff are all incredibly sweet and very responsive. They understand that they're new and they're still working some minor kinks out, so they're seeking out and listening to customer feedback to help mold the business into the best that it can be. Amazing people, amazing products, amazing space, amazing experience. We love going to The Paddock and you will too.

One of the most iconic local spots in Shelbyville is The Paddock Coffee Shop. It’s much more than just a coffee shop. It has become one of the main gathering places and community hubs in Shelbyville. Whether you’re grabbing coffee, meeting friends, working remotely, or stopping in while traveling through town, The Paddock has a welcoming atmosphere that really reflects the spirit of Shelby County. It’s the kind of place where locals naturally gather, connect, and spend time together. The coffee is excellent, the food is great, and the overall environment makes you want to stay awhile. If you’re visiting Shelbyville, Kentucky, this is absolutely one of the places you need to experience. Highly recommend.

Iced caramel oatmilk latte was good, wasn’t as caramel flavored as I was hoping for but the espresso was great! Very tasty berry bowl😊Fruit was fresh and service was good. All the ladies here were very nice. Thank you
